is it ok to remove the termastat and leave it out?

  1. I think you will find your engine will run better if it is allowed to run warm and not constantly cooled.


  2. You can run it without the thermostat but the engine won't obtain the proper operating temp.This will cause plug fouling,rough idle and poor fuel consumption.

  3. NO, you will damage it, if you run it for a long time without a thermostat.  It's OK for a short time in an emergency, however.
