1970 Dodge Challenger price?

1970 Dodge Challenger 440 4bbl 4 Speed Dana yellow with a Bumble bee stripe restored. Can anybody tell me a range that the car is worth? Thanks.

You need to throw out some variables for someone to make a guess on value.

How's the condition?

Restored to original?

The correct FY1 yellow?

What color bumblebee stripe?

# match?

Original data plate?

Paperwork?

You need to supply this info for someone to make an accurate guess. The 4-speed required the Dana, which adds to the value, but no stinkin' Hemmings magazine is gonna help (their price guide sucks anyway, if you read Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine) unless you provide the info above.

the prices are down a little bit right now on those, its still should bring around 30-35 thousand real easy though,only a few months ago though the same car was bringing around 45-60 thousand,give it a few more months if gas keeps going down and the price will go back up,i went to a car sale back in February and seen one bring 68 thousand,give it some time the price will come back up ,but its has to be extremely nice to bring that much buyers are real particular when their paying that much for a car,they know what to look for on those,they know the trouble spots that's the challengers had on them,and they also know where they rusted out at,and if isn't fixed back perfect it drops the value in half on them,good luck.

Don't Know has a pretty good answer. At Hemmings Motor Newsm which is the bible for pricing great old cars like yours, pricing runs anywhere from $35,000 to three times that amount. I've included a link so you can compare your vehicle to what is currently for sale.

A lot depends on the quality of the restoration job, go to ebay and check out what's for sale there. I'd say low end would be about $35,000 and go up from there.

Depending on it's condition, I would guess $25,000 up. Check with Hemmings or the WPC club.
