1982 Yamaha xt200j 6 volt electrical system?

Question

I've got my electrical system operating at about 90 percent today. My last problem ( I hope ) . When I put the blinker on,

The tailight blinks as well , as well as the neutral light on the

display panel. This happens on either left blinker setting or right blinker setting. I know this can't be normal, I have most connections and according to the schematic, it apears that

it is hooked up correctly. Any suggestions would really shed

a "blinking light: on my final leg to inspection. I have searched the manual from front to back and just don't know on this one.

nice old bike....havent done one of those for years...as u know bikes are earth switched...most likley your sharing an earth for the rear ilght and the flashers...keep in mind that trail bikes dont need indicators for there mot,but if there fitted they have to work.
