My hubby got this boat when his father passed and 2 years ago the Trigger was replaced with a new one we paid out the nose for and now again he is being told that it is the stator and trigger... Also cannot find a manual for it... Help he really wants to see the boat hit the water someday

  1. You can find any parts that you need for this engine from a company called C C Marine. They are located in Ontario. They

also have manuals for your engine.I do not know who has looked at your motor and said that it needs a stator and a trigger, but it should not need both.If it has no spark on all cylinders,it will need a stator only.If you have spark to some of the cylinders, they it is probably a trigger.Usually it is a stator that goes bad.I hope this helps and good luck.

  2. Try this link to sierra marine products.

  3. hello from southwest Florida, are there any large marinas near or far to call for junk engine parts? have you tried E-bay under boat/marine?many mercury/mariner parts interchange in horsepower groups ,parts sales wont tell you that, have you tried the public library for thier engine manuals?wish i could help you more .as i do not know your location i can only say hit allthe marinas on large lakes or drive up the coast for boatyards ,scrapmetal yards have junk engines also.Don K
