1983 toyota pickup 22r engine overheating?

I change the rediator on my toyota and  no more problems. you can emtie the rediator just enugh to see the inner of the rediator and check for rust or anything bloking the cells if so replace it.

I have 1982 22R 4X4 5 speed that overheats and blows radiator hose. My mechanic thinks there is a crack in engine block that is pressurizing coolant system.  Any sugestions?
