I'm sorry, but I'm not going to help you cheat. You really do need to do your homework properly. If this means reviewing parts of the book, the you should review those parts.

Frankly, 1984 is a very good book, and some of its themes are relevant today. The book is considered allegorical to many concerns of present times (governments spying on their people, oppressive regimes, technology advanced for such purposes, and politically correct speech, to name a few).

To better understand the settings, look at a globe and understand that the worlds Superpowers are similar today as they were in the 1940's. That should give you a rough idea as to where to start regarding the setting.
