1986 Yamaha Maxium X?

Question

my dad recently gave me his yamaha maxium x. is this bike good or should i just sell it. i drove it two times and it was fast realy fast but i am only 16.

it's a great bike, if you like it, keep it

if you want something newer, then sell it

For now...keep it to lead how to ride it safely. The Maxium is a great bike...I had a 650 and it never let me down. Later if you feel the need to move up you can sell it then.

the bikes a good one dont sell unless u and dad agree to and only if the bike is to much (to fast to heavy) for u to handle

It's a great machine.  Did Dad give you a motorcycle safety course, too?

try it, and when you can pace your bike through the course, then hit the streets!
