1987,8,9 Mercedes 560SL ????

I'm interested in buying a 1987-89 Mercedes 560SL and am wondering if there are some thing i need to know like reliability, performance, price range. Preferably from someone who owns one and can tell me what to look for in one.

the best thing to do is get it inspected by a mechanic before buying. Also find out if the timing chain has been replaced because that can be an easy 2000 right off the bat
