Question:

1987 Chevy Suburban NO POWER TO IGNITION (HELP ME :()!!!!!!?

i have power to my clock,horn,and buzzer for the door but i can NOT seem to get power to my ignition or the dash... all of the fuses are fine, i took apart and cleand the connections. and i have NO clue what else to do. Any help?

  2. If nothing else works replace the ignition module inside the distributor.It is black about 1 1/2"x 3"long.good luck.

  3. there is a fuse-able link wire (a wire that acts as a fuse) that runs from your starter up the back of the block to the distributor, or to a block spliter on the fire wall. check the wire completely to mack sure its not blown and check the spliters on the fire wall. sometimes the spliters will melt the plastic that holds the metal post and cause the electrical circuit to fail. i had the same problem with my 84 blazer and i experienced both of these issues.
