I have a 1987 Porsche 944, the car wont start, the car does crank but it does not start, my mechanic told me it was not getting any spark, I replaced a crankshaft sensor, and a relay, but still no luck, I am going to replace the computer, and ignition coil, should I replace these two things or any ideas to what could be causing this, any help will be appreciated thanks.

  2. Start looking for an open circuit on your wiring and the coil. Check to see that there is power to the computer and that it is grounded. You need a wiring schematic and an Ohm Meter to start wringing this problem out. Don't let the complexity scare you, just take each wire at a time. If everything checks out good, then I would consider having the computer tested and repaired unless you can find one to borrow to confirm that the problem is truely the computer.

  3. is not crankshaft sensor or any thing he did to your car.

if no spark high tension cable need to be replaced  or YOU NEED A MAJOR tune up. Starter -check starter solenoid.
