1988 Honda TRX 250R ATV-Is the OEM plastic ( rear fenders) interchangeable from year to year?

Does anyone know FOR SURE whether or not the rear fenders are interchangeable? I have an 88 250R, but I don't know for sure what year the plastic is. I am looking at some 86 rear fenders, and the seat pan bolts appear to be in the same place as mine. However mine has more bolts. My problem is this: my quad has a custom flip seat on it, therefore the bolts in the seat pan that go through to the plastic have to line up with flip seat. If the 86 seat pan has less bolts it's not a problem as long as they line up with the same holes.

88 and 89 are directly interchangeable.  The 86 and 87 rear are interchangeable, the front is different because of the headlight location, however you can use the front plastic from any year, as long as you move the headlight location accordingly.

I have 3 250R's, and 86, an 88 and an 89.
