  1. One thing of importance.  That is a KA24E, single cam.  That has better compression, at 9.5:1 on that year.

The body looks good, but only able to see the exterior.  90K is extremely low for an 89 hatch.  If you are in the area, be sure to take a look at the car before buying it.  $2500 is a decent price, but only if it's in perfect shape.

    Things to look for.

    1.  If it has a spoiler on the rear hatch, look to see if it's warped at the base, where it mounts to the hatch itself.  If you can, see if you can lift the spoiler up just enough to tell if there is rust forming where the mounting tabs are (hatches are nororious for this).  Also, check the strut tower welds, as those have been know to rust out badly on the 89-90 hatches.

If all that checks out, and the milage is legit, snatch that baby up and keep it in good shape.

If you do get it, be sure to visit the 240SX forums at www.nicoclub.com for any maintenence and upkeep that you can do yourself.

  2. buy

  3. Yep, go ahead assuming nothing major is wrong with it.
