Your car has a B20A motor in it. It is a 4-cyl DOHC PGMFI engine. You can actually do a lot to this motor and make it pretty fast.

You can start with intake, header and exhaust. You can even build the motor up and put a turbo on it and make a lot of power. I'm not sure if they make them for your model car, but mostly everything is universal for Honda engines. If you have trouble looking, look for an 88-91 Honda Prelude parts too, it has the same engine.
