Question:

1990-1993 baseball cards?

I recently got some basball cards from a friend(A LOT) and need to know prices of them. I have a 1992 box set of unopened studio baseball cards, 1993 topps baseball cards set(unopened), an unopened 1992 box set of major league baseball cards, topps gold rafael palmeiro,damion easley, brett butler, david hulse, kevin wikander, jack mcdowell, kevin campbell, brian mcraf, junior felix, steve wilson, larry walker, greg harris, and an all star national league card of tim wallach, and another of kirby pukett. Please tell me the prices i need 2 know...

  1. Pick up an issue of Beckett Baseball Monthly (or whatever that rag is called today) for specifics -- but, honestly, do not hope for a lot. 1988-93 was the era for massive overproduction, and even today much of the surplus hasn't been absorbed by the hobby market. It's out there, and it's plentiful, and it does not have a lot of demand.

    Good stuff to give away on Halloween though.

I think your '92 Studio set is worth around $10, '93 Topps set around $15 , and all those singles you listed might be worth a nickel or dime each, except the Puckett which may be worth a quarter. These estimates are probably optimistic, and you likely won't be able to sell the cards because as someone else said, the early '90's was the peak of the baseball card craze and companies were producing millions of cards which flooded the market.

    Basically, anyone would might want your cards probably already has their own.
