1990-91 Isuzu Amigo 2.6L timing the head and crank?

Question

i am trying to sync the head and the crank,

does the mark on the reluctor ring line up with the position sensor in a vertical line or a 45* ?

the sensor is not in the center of the block, it is off to the side.

And also if im 180* off with the head, do i turn it a full turn or just 180?

This is really throwing me a fit, and ive set the dang rotor like four times

but it still acts like its out of time
