1990 pro v yahama engine?

can any one tell me how to adjust the oil injector pump linkage so it can pump more oil into my cyclinders. and if it shouldn't be done I will except the answer.

  1. First, manually move the linkage to see which way it moves when the engine is throttled up. The oil pump lever should move back when you throttle it. If this is the case you would just want to make the oil pump link-rod LONGER, which would increase your oiling.

    Second, why do you want to do this? All you will do is increase your oil consumption and foul your spark plugs. Also if you mess up any part of the linkage you may have the opposite effect, which will be evident in a BLOWN-UP ENGINE! If you are having running issues I would take it to a shop. A few bucks now could save a lot of money and heartache. Good luck
