1991 Firebird 5.0 Fast or not worth getting?

Question

is this car even fast i am looking at getting one but I want a fast car, its not great on gas and Im not gonna buy it if its a slow gas guzzler. Sa any help would be nice thanks

Not as fast as the newer Firebirds but in it's day it was able to hold its own.  It's hard to say though.  Is it all original or have there been modifications at all?  I guess I don't really understand why you are looking for a fast car.  You can't really drive at the top speeds anywhere.  But if you are looking for fast excelleration thats a different case.  If you are looking for a fast car that isn't in a corvette price range I would go with a newer Firebird or a Z28/SS Camaro.  Those are the two choices I would recommend.  You could always take it for a test drive though and find out.
