I have a 1991 Honda Accord LX and i'm trying to swap out the rear speakers in the very back under the rearview window. I need to know which of the speaker wires that were attached to the original speakers are postive and negative so i can hook them up to the new speakers that i have they arent colored black and red so i can't tell. the back left speaker wires are blue and white and they have a strip through them

  1. Take one of the speakers that came out of the car and get yourself a 9 volt battery.  connect a piece of speaker wire to the old speaker you took out of the car and connect the other ends of the wire to the 9 volt battery.  When you do, the speaker should move either out or suck in.  If it moves out, the wire that's connected to the positive post of the battery would be the positive side of your connector in the car.  If it sucks in, the wire connected to the negative post of the battery is your positive side of the speaker.  Does that make sense?
