I am looking for an aftermarket exhaust to give my night hawk a little more power but can't seem to find a company that makes one. Is there a company out there, or am I just out of luck? Also, how much will this help my bikes performance?

  1. I don't think you can by an off the shelf system for that bike but you can get universal parts to replace the stock mufflers.  See the link below.  Replacing the mufflers with high flow after market parts will not help much unless you "open up" the intake tract also.  Typically this involve cutting larger intake holes into the air box and using a high flow air filter like a K&N.  Now that you have better flow through the intake and exhaust, you need to increase the amount fuel by changing the jetting in the carburator.  This last step is tricky because it takes some trial and error and can be time consuming (and expensive if you don't have drawer full of jets to play with).

You might find more information about your bike if you visit one of the forums for the CB250 like the one below.

  2. As for where to get it, I couldn't tell you. What I can tell you is that it's not going to make that much of a difference anyhow. It will just make the bike loud and annoying.
