When the vehicle is all the way warmed up the temp gage still does not move. It stays on the left, on C, or cold. Where is it located on the motor? Can I fix it myself?

  1. look down the lines of your glow plugs it is a single wire sensor on the front right.did the gauge ever move all the way before. they always run cold does it come up when sitting and running at a stop

  2. The temp sensor is probably bad. You can find one at autozone or any auto parts store for about $10.

  3. Temp sender should be screwed in the head.Common to get loose,or go bad.Make sure your diesel is running right temp. A cold diesel will wear out the liners faster.
