Question:

1992 Chevy Lumina APV: Airplane noises, pulling?

My 1992 Chevy Lumina has been making noises like an airplane since yesterday. Today the noise is louder. It also feels like the engine or something is pulling when I push on the gas pedal. There is also the faint smell of rubber burning. Not a strong smell...just a little one. The oil and anti-freeze fluids are full. Just got an oil change. What is wrong and is it safe to drive this way?

  1. Check that nothing is stuck or hanging under the car, check the blower motor on high and see if the noise is louder, check that all the doors are fully closed and then take it to a repair shop and let them look at it, as for safe, I would have someone look at it just to be on the safe side.
