No clicking noise when i turn the key, nothing except the seat belt light comes on. I know the battery is good. What can I do?! I need to go to work tomorrow morning and I don't know what I'm going to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I had the same problem with my 1992 Previa just five months ago. Everyone said that it was the starter. It could be just the starter on yours, but after having mine replaced, the problem returned a week later. It turned out that my battery cables had corroded inside the actual cable- not an inexpensive repair for a Previa considering the cables are designed differently from most cars. That repair alone costed me $350. The starter was replaced before that to the tune of $200. Hopefully yours aren't the cables. My mechanic did it at cost so he made profit only on the labor. Still, considering the van made it 16 years with very little done to it was amazing. Also, if you haven't done so yet, you should consider joining a Previa forum group like Yahoo has or toyotavanpeople.com. Toyota Nation is another. My fav is toyotavanpeople.com because there are a lot of do it yourselfers who tend to post pics of their repairs also. Good luck.
