1992 oldsmobile 88 getting a code 17?

it stalls when its hot it has a 3800 engine i dont know what to do ? i have good skills to rebuild the motor if a had to but the cars not worth it i just cant find what a code 17 is

    Looks like you are losing the CKPS signal. Could be a bad sensor, or possibly a bad section in the computer.
