1993-1997 Lexus GS300 or 1995-1999 Nissan Maxima?

Question

Which one is more reliable and faster. Both are in the same price range but i want Performance and reliability.

Any input?

the lexus gs300 is the toyota aristo and def a great car ,both cars are really nice cars and yo can't go wrong with either .power wise all depends on the engine size you buy as there is upto a twin turbo gs300 which uses the same engine as the supra.

i feel there is no def answer as said both have good names,if i was looking at the max and the gs i would be tempted to look at the infiniti i30 also which is the international version of the maxima and carries a more executive spec.

Thats not knocking the max just if you want that extra spec.

Nissan. Lexus's are ugly (opinion). I think reliability is more lexus and fast is more nissan. Older nissans probaly break more but they still run pretty good. lexus is built with quality but are more for luxury. Its the Mercedes of japan
