1993 Dodge Dakota help please?

I own a 1993 Dodge Dakota V6 engine 3.9l with about 150,000 miles on it.

My truck has a check engine light on and it seems to be acting up. It's idling rough and when I try to take it for a test drive it shakes when accelerating and seems like it's not getting enough power.

I just did a fault code test in which my engine light will flash telling me if there are any problems. I got the following fault codes from my engine light and my dodge Dakota repair manual tells me what the flashes mean.

Below are the two fault codes I received.

2 pause 7 flashes - throttle position sensor circuit

2 pause 4 flashes - injector output circuit not responding

Would these two problems affect my trucks performance and cause it to idle erratically

  1. yes

your lamba sensor is dirty and needs a brush down to clear exhaust soot  also fuel injctor also clogged and needs a clean out

once these are clean your engine should respond better

  2. yes they will the throttle position sensor will cause both of those codes to appear though, you usually have to replace it before you can get those codes to clear up,the throttle position sensor also helps regulate or allow a certain amount of gas to be supplied to the engine when needed,so it will cause it to run and perform really bad, good luck.
