1994 Honda Accord Clicking Noises

Alright as much info as possible as quickly as possible.

Drivers side front wheel clicking while braking (20mph and lower)

Drivers side front wheel clicking while turning left only and only in a sweet spot of about 30 degrees of the steering wheel.

Sometimes will not hear this when it is cold out (I know this because I drive with my windows down even when it is cold)

Can also feel the clicking underneath my feet while driving

It is a steady clicking that follows the turning of the tires

Clicking coming from passenger front tire.

Can hear while driving and while braking

Sound is intermittent and doesn't seem to follow the turning of the tires

I guess I'm not sure if it is coming from the passenger tire, but it does seem that way.

Also I have checked the cv boots and they don't seem to be damaged or are free of grease.

Any guesses and how to check would be welcomed.

  1. if it clicks wile accelerating it is defiantly the cv axles that is where i would look just because the boots are good doesent mean the axles are good try turning the wheel hard to one side and accelerate if it clicks than you need axles

  2. Boy, if you're feeling it it almost HAS to be the CV joints. Are you sure the wheel's not loose? I guess you'd feel that all the time. I guess it could be a bolt in the assembly coming loose. It would seem if it's that prominent and consistent, the car could be left on a lift overnight and the wheel turned from underneath or with engine power in the morning. If you're feeling it, surely you'll be able to isolate it from underneath. Where do you live that it's cold this time of year or are you speaking relatively?

  3. sounds like a cv joint. a cv joint can go out without the boot tearing.

  4. what is mos tlikly messed up are the collapsers. u should take your tires out take them out and just use a little of greaser or wd40. if teh problem still happens, mostlikly its nothing major. any honda from 1999 and younger is about 75 percent plastic. you might just have some plastic part out hanging anf hitting something, dont worry about that much althought teh sound could get annoying.
