1994 grang chee, could it be my trannie?

Question

my tranning seems to be slipping. in drive. not all the time. but i put two things of that lukes into to it. its still slipping a bit. what do you think. it sat two years before i got it. i have not change the fuled or the filter. i was told now that its slipping. dont get things change. could this be a sign the trannie is going

had the same problem! it would drop out of gear when i stopped and then slip back into gear / just sometimes! i sucked the fluid out , filled it back up a quart low and put 1 btl of lucas  stop slip in it. took a bit for the lucas to soak into the clutch plates but eventually it worked! good stuff! BUT jeep trans' suck so it might just be shot! the way ive always looked at it ,if its slipping already y not change it?
