1995 Buick La-Sabre turn signal

Question

Turn signals will not work unless you use them manually. The Hazards work and the bulbs are fine. What can the problem be? This needs to pass inspection but will not if the do not work automatically.I don't have the owners manual.

If you have to push the lever up and down for the turn signals to work,

you will need to replace the turn signal switch.
