1995 F150 300 L6 4.9 L high oil pressure?

hey i've had high oil pressure for awhile and I was wondering if anyone else has this problem on this same engine. i'm looking for a possible solution

if its high oil pressure then there shouldnt be a problem. Have you recently changed your oil and put heavier oil in it or is it the temp may be colder out side which would give you higher oil pressure

Most 1990's Fords use a gage that operates simply like a light, when there is more than 5psi the Gage moves to the center, with less it falls to the left and indicates no pressure. The proper procedure would be to install a manual Gage and test it. high oil pressure could be caused by a stuck pressure relief valve in the oil pump.
