Question:

1995 Honda Accord Idle Speed Jump Up and Down

My 1995 Accord's idle speed jumps up and down between 1000 rpm and 1500 rpm when the gear is at neutral or parking position but not in the reverse or forward gear (only rpm is relatively high at reverse or forward gear). What would have caused it and can I do about it? Thanks!

  1. speed sensor on the transmission. get it replaced.  common problem that is starting to show up with this year.
