1995 Mercury 40 HP 2 stroke 4 cyl Impeller replacement instructions.?

Question

I want to replace my impeller. Please do not reply with buy a manual. I bought two. One owners manual that reads "take to dealer if flow is not good". and the 200 page factory manual has major tear down instructions for waterpump replacement , but nothing simple. This is supose to be an annual maintenance item. I also searched the forums and get the same old answer. Buy a manual. Some there there must be simple step by step instructions.

1.Shift engine into foreward gear

        2.tilt engine to full "up" position

        3.remove 4 bolts (2 each side) from the gear housing

        4. remove 1 bolt in front of trim tab

         5. gear housing should drop down with the drive shaft attached

         6. at the bottom of the drive shaft is a cover with 4 bolts undo bolts,lift cover exposing impellor.
