1995 chevy silverado wont shift (automatic)but will drive rpm gauge and speedometer will not work?

it cranks in 2nd gear and drives in 2nd gear will not change check gauges light stays on when i start to move.mile indiator will not read. what is my problem?

sounds like major wire problems.. and major transmission problems.. you have more than  one problem due to the fact that these are not related.. so i would have it checked out by a professional.. good luck!
