1995 chevy tahoe, 4wd, 350tbi, will a aftermarket chip ?

will an aftermarket chip improve gas milage, at about 17mpg now. if so whats a good brand name.

some can improve mileage but, you run the risk or "over running" the motor too. now you'll have more power and most people forget that it takes millions of dollars to get it right and only a couple of hundred to s***w it all up.. be carefull if you use one not to run it too hard and hurt it. you can destroy the valve springs and the cam or just plain blow it up.. they do work but, use it wisely.
