where is the primary o2 sensor (the one that needs to be replaced) on my 1995 ford taurus

  1. Didn't we already answer this question?  The car has 2 oxygen sensors, not a primary sensor.  It has a bank 1 sensor and a bank 2 sensor.  I looked in the Ford service manuals to see if there was any 95 Taurus made that had three O2 sensors, there are none listed so if your car is a 95 it should only have 2 sensors, the 96 and up have 3.  As for which one to replace, you need to use a scanner and retrieve the diagnostic trouble codes and see what one is bad.
