I have changed plugs and wires, air filter etc. Vehicle is running rough and code 43 popped up multi cylinder misfire. What could cause the problem? I have disconnected, one at a time, the injectors but vehicle still runs the same, when idling and I have noticed no difference when a particular injector is disconnected.

  1. Code 43 ?

You should have a P0300 series code for misfires, that vehicle is OBD2,  two digit codes are OBD 1

43 ignition control circuit not responding

In any event, most common issue is with the coil packs, misfires associated with fuel injectors will likely produce codes  related to O2 sensor faults also. recheck for codes, have PCM scanned, and record codes and freeze frame data. the combination will help identify what part has caused the misfire.

  2. that injector has either clogged up or failed all together, what i would do is take the time and money to replace all 4 injectors as a set (like it should be done) as well as the fuel rail (to prevent clogged injectors again)
