Question:

1996 Dodge Ram 1500 overdrive problems?

I have a 1996 dodge ram 1500. The overdrive won't kick in. So at 65 mph i'm runnin at 3000 rpm, and i know that's not good. ANY SUGESTIONS???

  1. you need to have the computer scanned on it to determine whats causing this too happen,there's several things that can cause this,a bad speed sensor will cause it not to kick in,have it scanned and see what codes you come up with,good luck.
