A few months ago, I took my van in because the engine was racing, as if I was standing on the gas pedal. After hundreds of dollars worth of worthless repairs, this place finally replaced the IAC (motor?). That's what it said on the receipt. Anyway, the racing stopped, but the van started stalling every so often, which it had never done before. They looked at it, and couldn't find the problem. Over time, the stalling got worse, and now I can get about half way to work, and then I have to ride the brake and the gas at every red light to keep it running, and often it stalls pulling into a parking spot. Please...any ideas??? I don't ever want to go back to that place, and I need this van to hold out until I can save up enough for another car.
After about two hours of rest, my van is fine for a little while. The more I have to stop, the quicker the stalling starts (I guess about ten minutes.) When cool, it starts very easily, but starts horribly after stalling.
