1996 Mercury Grand Marquis (Air Suspension)?

Question

OK here is my question I have a 96 mercury Grand Marquis and the air compressor for the suspension is not kicking on. It will every now and then kick on but for the most part I look like I am riding a low riding mind you if I was in Cali it would look awesome but not in Arkansas. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated

based on my experience with a 89 Lincoln LSC  there should be a switch in the trunk to turn off the air ride. when you are fully pumped up, turn off the air ride and you should stay level but I can't promise a smooth ride
