  1. hoses are pretty simple  just get the hose and two s***w clamps and remove old hose and put new hose on and tighten clamps add anti freeze till full leave rad cap off start motor  and anti freeze goes down add and close radiator but dont stand anywhere near radiator neck cause sometimes they shoot out anti freeze when the thermostat opens

  2. Well.... you can always go to the library and get a chilton or haynes auto repair manual.   .. the hose.. is easy. you should only need a screwdriver.. or possibly a socket... make sure you tell the auto parts store your make model year and engine size.. and if the hose is the upper or lower... if you dont know.. take the hose in to the store with you so they can compare it and get you the right one.

the upper hose connects to the top of the radiator and the lower hose connects to the bottom.

Its also possible that a good samaritan at the auto store will point out where to put your power steering fluid...

its usually in a black box type thing with a black cap on it.. that says  (type such and such) power steering fluid only.  and on the underside of the cap there is a stick that goes down into the fluid that should have a line with an H on it.. and a line with a C on it.. so you know the level your fluid needs to be at.. if its hot (the car has been running) or if its cold (the car has been sitting).

and very importantly.. very extremely important... YOU MUST make sure you pour the right amount of steering fluid in.. add it little by little and wipe off the stick each time you check it.. if you put too much steering fluid in you can BREAK the seals in that system and cause leaks.  if you arent sure.. just ask someone in the auto store to help you.
