1996 chevy k1500 regular cab truck?

I have a 96 chevy with a radio that I dont like all that much and how many watts do the stock radios put out?

depends on the stock stereo...get a aftermarket stereo and u will most likely get 22 true watts..thats the rms out of each of the 4 speaker inputs..it will be way louder and sound clearer...u could always put a amp onm ur door speakers and that would make it night and day difference in ur sound and clarity
