  1. Vortec superchargers seem to be fairly popular with Impalas from that generation.  That would probably be the cheapest route for forced induction.

Here's a twin turbo kit for a 94-96 Impala SS:

I go with the twin turbo kit if you can afford it.  That would be a lot of fun/unique.  Think of all the guys at car shows that will look under the hood and say "Is that a twin turbo LT-1 V8?!  What the Heck?!"  You'll make monstrous torque with the turbos too.

  2. supercharger

  3. depends on what you like since the supercharger is driven by a pulley meaning theres no lag so fast acceleration but is very limited at top range rpms however, the turbocharger works on exhaust gases so it takes a bit of time to spool up which depends on the size of the turbo so bigger not necesserily means better. the turbo has no limit as the more you press on the gas, the more exhaust comes out of the engine meaning more acceleraitons meaning more exhaust, meaning more acceleration and you see where I'm going so to sum it up: Supercharger: Low to Mid Range Power / Turbocharger: Mid to High Range Power. Good luck
