1996 mitsubishi eclipse,fans wont kick in why?

So it gets hot quick.The fans dont come on.Help.

check the fuses and relays for the fan

could be a couple of things first check the fuse to make sure it is good fuse panels(there are two) are under the dash on the drivers side by the kick panel and in the engine compartment above the air box by the computer. the covers should tell you which fuse you're looking for. the next thing to check is the relay also in the fuse box in the engine compartment it will be the two relays(one hi fan one low fan) on the left side. if it isn't either of those problems change the temp sensor in the water neck on the engine( it tells the car when it is hot so the fans will turn on) last and very unlikely is the fans them self, unplug and hook a positive and negative wire to the two wires going to them if they work they're fine.
