I had just put a stereo into my acura and it comes on and everything all the wires are hooked up correctly and it turns on with no problems. The only problem is the speakers arent playing any music? They are all brand new audio baun speakers i replaced the stock ones with them and i cant figure out why they arent playing any music but the stereo is working and on! I cant figure it out could it be the internal amp? How would I be able to tell what the problem is?

If anyone could help me please help me im in desperate need of help!

Thank you and much respect!

  2. If it has an internal amp, I would assume you are using the wrong remote turn on lead from the deck. You should be using a blue with white stripe wire, not a solid blue, solid blue is for antenna, and will only come on when using the FM tuner.

    edit:

I am beginning to wonder if this is a problem with the amp, or just a complete wiring problem. The wires you described that are left, one of which is the 12v constant, I am confused why this is not hooked up. What are you using for the 12v constant? Your wire color codes are as follows.

    Constant 12V+ Blue/White

    Switched 12V+ Yellow/Red

    Ground Black

    Illumination Red/Black

    Front Speakers

    Left Front (+) Blue/Green

    Left Front (-) Gray/Black

    Right Front (+) Red/Green

    Right Front (-) Brown/Black

    Rear Speakers

    Left Rear (+) Blue/Yellow

    Left Rear (-) Gray/White

    Right Rear (+) Red/Yellow

    Right Rear (-) Brown/White

Also I am unable to find any sign of this car having an internal amplifier (factory) Are you sure it has a built in amp, or did you add one, or was that an assumption?

  3. yeah like larry said i guess thats ur problem but then... i was already doing that (attached the bluw with white to the regular blue) and everything works fine except the remote... (which i dunno where it goes) so it could be something else like they messed up the wiring somehow
