1997 Civic Codes P0700, P0715 AND P0113

Question

Car runs fine. The transmission is a little jumpy, but it's fine when I'm gentle with it. I'd like to get another 50k out of this car. How serious are these codes?

P0700 - Automatic Trans Fault

P0715 - Input Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction

P0113 - Input from intake air temperature sensor is hither than expected

im sorry to give you the bad news but these codes arent good. the transmission is going out and unfortunately needs to be rebuilt. i would call around some local salvage yards and price some used transmissions. try to find one with low miles, for example if the car was wrecked and had low mileage. keep in mind you want to get a good warranty on it. if you are mechanically inclined you can get a haynes manual and put it in yourself good luck
