Question:

1997 Plymoth Breeze, I know I need to and how to replace the arm, but I have to tighten bolts a certain way?

In the car manual, my boyfriend was reading and it said when we're putting the new control arm and ball joint on that we need to tighten it to a certain number or something like that...I'm sure a mechanic understands...but we're tryin' to be cheap, do it ourselfers...can't we just tighten the bolts normally...or what?

  1. you need a torque wrench, you can probably rent one , i reccomend you do it  


  2. their talking about the amount of torque you put on each bolt,this is what they mean by that,he,ll have to borrow a torque wrench if he doesn't have one to do this with,that's what they mean,it will give the amount in the repair manual that they need to be torqued to,good luck.
