1997 ford ranger 4.0L?

Question

What kinds of trouble codes can carboned up 02 sensors cause? Ithere any way of cleaning them? They are less than a years old. System Bank 1 & 2 too lean. Intake manifold gasket replaced a year ago. I am stumped. replaced every emision control part i can find. No vaccum leaks. if anybody has some thoughts or ideas I would appreciate it! Thank you so much!

How's the fuel pump, filter, and pressure looking?

Either way, you are getting unmetered air (or not enough fuel) into the mix that the computer likes.  Botched intake mani gasket job?

Lean codes are NOT bad O2 sensor codes.  There are different codes for those.

Fuel delivery?Fuel filter,pump,pressure regulator,injectors?All of your dealing have to do with air only,mixture is a combination of both air and fuel.Start with the air flow sensor first.Be sure the PCM has the latest E-Prom update when running to dead end.HTH.
