Everything electrical seems to be working but the horn and cruise control has stopped working. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this? A mechanic said it was the body control module but I hate to pay $700 for one if it's not needed. Thanks for any help!!

  1. fuse under the hood

  2. Check each fuse under the hood and in the car and if the body control module is not working try going to a big do it yourself auto wreckers bec some might sell you that module for 30 to 50 bucks.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way make sure the van you take the module out of has the same type of engine and the exact same features your van has.

  3. the mechanic could be right, but id check the fuse first those both could work off the same fuse so chances are its just blown fuse for it,with both of those things not working leads me to believe you have blown fuse rather than bad body module on it,the fuse you will be looking for is located on the end of the dash in the fuse panel, when you pull the cover their marked on the cover which one it is,good luck ,
