1998 Honda Accord Speakers.............?

Question

I want to replace the stock speakers in my 1998 Honda Accord....What size speakers will I need for a direct fit......What brand speaker is the best????................I mainly want to replace the ones in the back headrest, and the ones upfront near the floor...........Thank You!

6 1/2 inch round speakers are the ones in the doors. The rear deck ones are 6x9 inch speakers. I have a 2000 Honda Accord myself and have changed out the speakers several times of the course of owningthe car. Pretty simple process also. As for speakers I really couldn't say. There is so many types of speakers out there, and they all have there own different sounds. I would have to say that almost anything is better than the paper Pioneer factory speakers that were in there though. I had changed mine out the 1st week I had bought the car new. The best ones that I have liked though was Kenwoods. Great sound and very inexpensive. I have also tried Sony, Pioneer, and Alpine, but I have perfered the the Kenwoods over all. Hopefully that helps you out a bit.
