1998 dodge dokta lights arent birght?

for some reason my lights arent bright on my truck i changed the altanotor and new battery and there still not birght there after market lights

  1. Okay, my suggestion would be that you need to check the fuses. One may be loose or about to blow. If that doesn't correct the problem, replace the headlights. Maybe you just got bad headlights. Good luck with that truck. My husband has one, and we have had quite a few problems from it. Keep an eye on your brake line, because they didn't leave much room for it, and a hole will be worn into it. Seriously, do some research on the truck. I read that the bolts that hold the cab to the chassis were recalled because they were improperly hardened, leaving them weak and could result in cab detachment. Sounds like fun. NOT! lol


  2. check the ground wires for the headlights when the wires get a little corroded they will cause the lights to be a little dim sometimes,with them having new bulbs in the the should be bright,there's ground wire on each side of the harness for the headlights,check those you may find your problem,good luck.

  3. go with dodge man and check on the recalls.

  4. you can buy brighter headlights
