  1. Brakes, water pump, alternator that sort of thing.

Check the oils, if their new it'll be harder to tell if it's on it's last leg.

If it's old and smells burnt, leave it, find another car.

  2. Usually the coils on the spark plugs start to go one at a time, also mass air flow sensors go bad alot on those, but they sell spray cleaner for those.dpfe sensor for the egr system. Overall they are ok cars, not really put together too well. kinda cheap

  3. YOU DON'T WANT A MUSTANG.

There is a reason why certain people always rag on fords. My father had a 2003 mustang within 30,000 miles it needed a $300 fuel pump (which we installed) it also needed a new rear shock. And a handful of other stuff.

The gas mileage on them is horrible, the safety rating is horrible, the handling (which in my utmost opinion is a bigger safety issue than even safety belts) is horrible due to ancient suspension. Sure it can go in a straight line somewhat quick, but you take it around a corner too fast and you're dead. simply put. Trust me when i say you don't want a mustang. Ignore it's popularity or looks. It is a horrible car.

Get a 95 bmw 3 series. You can find them for around the same price, but they're 10 times the car in every aspect. I'm an experienced mechanic and have seen and drivien every car out there. the mustang is our biggest moeny maker. If you have bad credit and dont need any more expenses make an investment and get a different car, it will pay itself off when it saves your life or doesnt break down.. or doesnt chug gas.

Also. The pant has a reputation of oxidizing, cause they whent cheap on it...
